Alright y'all. Time for resolutions. I actually HATE resolutions, but this time does happen to coincide with my "gain a lot of weight" season, so I'm going for it. Matt and I are starting up the "weigh yourself every morning" routine. To keep me even more accountable, I'm gonna post my weight every week on here. I'll just pretend everyone in the world is reading it and my future children will be really disappointed in me if I don't make progress. With that, I'm gonna go eat Chipotle with Matt. Hold the sour cream :)

Tip of the Week: 12/5

Drink water every day, and plenty of it.

Seems crazy, but I can go a full day without drinking much if any water. Given, I receive water from other sources, I won't die -- but I can tell you that my urine is rarely clear.

To add to the tips above, I find that in addition to adding lemon, other flavorings can help -- add Emergen-C or Mio when you can't choke down another glass. Drink tea in the winter instead of coffee (coffee is a diuretic).

Ignorance or Lack of Self-Control

I always hear about people who can't lose weight "no matter what they do." Let's face the facts: a majority of people don't lack the genes to lose weight, they lack the proper knowledge and self-control to do so.
